History
It was already at the beginning of the 20th century that bathing lovers opened their eyes to the idyllic bathing place Magnarp beach. Current Magnarp Strandbad's oldest building (the house closest to the sea) is estimated to have been built around 1890 and more buildings were started afterwards and the today white main building is from the 1930s. This is where the oldest "Magnarp boarding house" started. The facility was bought in 1944 by Klippan's leather factory to be used as a holiday home for the leather workers. "Klippan's leather workers' holiday home" was run until 1989 and then became one of the country's most popular until 2016. holiday accommodation.
Since December 2020, the facility is family-owned and has during 2021 been renovated and open once again.
